Design submitted by Felipe from Brasil.

Design submitted by Cory from the USA.
Cory says: “Ninjas attacked me as I was walking to work. I had only my wits to save me. As everyone knows, if there is a lone Ninja, he can fight off an entire army by himself, but if there is a large group of them, they drop like flies. This is the law of the Ninja, I’m not sure why that is, but there you have it. From this encounter came the notion of a watch made of Ninja tools.

Design submitted by Anders from Sweden.
Anders says: “Inspired by a few other sun-dial designs on this blog, I was hit with the idea to make an actual sun-dial watch, but substituting LEDs orbiting the watch face for the sun. Some sketching resulted in this design; Gnomon; two layered faces , a center gnomon and cleverly shuttered LEDs. Read the rest of this entry »

A new concept from the Tokyoflash Design Studio.
This analog watch design is ideal for people who are sick of the society, stupid rules & being told what to do all the time. As a sign of rebellion they can wear this watch and say “F*** No”! Well, not exactly, as there is “No Swearing” allowed of course… Read the rest of this entry »

(English) Design submitted by Laszlo from Hungary.
Laszlo says: “This is an analog watch, with electroluminescent backlighting (yellow or green). The light shining through on two screen-printed acryil dials indicates the time. The fixed hand is printed on the inside of the glass.
The time reading on this watch design is very simple. The dials move in a clockwise direction and the time is always shown in the window at the 12 o’clock position. Read the rest of this entry »

Design submitted by Paulo from Portugal.
Paulo says: “I like all kind of watches and I like to blend old with new, so when i saw the type of watches you make, i just put old numbers in the LEDs.
The design is very simple and you just have to know how to read Ancient Roman Numbers to be able to tell the time. This watch design would be great for anyone who likes old and new watches.
This design stands out as something different because although LEDs are usual in Tokyoflash watches, ancient numbers are not, i only see these in some analog watches.”

Design submitted by Anders from Sweden.
Anders says: “The idea of a watch that projects the time onto the wearer’s wrist, like some alarm clocks that show the time on the ceiling, is one that has floated around my head for a while now. I’ve wanted to do the concept justice, and have let it take it’s time. Read the rest of this entry »

(English) Design submitted by Ignacio from Spain.
Ignacio says: “Some months ago, I was watching my clock and I asked myself: “Why must the hands rotate? Why not the numbers?” This inspired me to come up with this watch design. (English) Submitted by Heather from the USA.
I was thinking it would be neat to come up with a concept that includes a play on words. The display will say “WATCH THIS” – which is meant to grab your attention – especially on a WATCH! Then a press of the button will display the time in an interesting way, which certainly is something to watch. Read the rest of this entry »
