When I first designed the Droplet pendant watch for Ladies, I thought about how when drawing round objects to make them look 3D, it often helps to include a reflection on the curved surface. On a long chain, it’s easy for the wearer to turn it around to see the time, yet still have a neat looking fashion accessory.
Patrick says: It is a project inspired of the “Rotate-Watch” and the “Koinshidensu-Watch”.
The “Rocking-Watch” makes coincide enigmatic pieces of LED, so that they form readable figures. It is necessary to look at the watch perpendicular to its vision and to make it swivel, towards outside, in line with arm, until the figures are formed to give the hour. Several animations are programmable. AM-PM – Display the hour and the date – Mode of alarm – Unisex design for small and large the wrists.
Jacques says: The watch is a redesign of the watch I posted earlier. Although the watch looks quite different from the first one, the principle actually is the same. A minimalistic watch with a completely blank front and time reading functionality on the side, which creates a surprising effect compared to the many watches with frontal displays and numerous clocks/pointers etc.
