OctoThorpe LED watch is a digital watch with a cryptic twist.

Sam says: The inspiration for this watch came from the number sign (hash, pound sign, rarely octothorp in different variations). This symbol divides an area into nine squares.
I sketched around for a digital display and quickly came to the double square numbers, you can see in the images. I took the name Octothorpe due to it’s emphasis on the number 8. There are 8 squares forming the time display and each of them is made of 8 segments.
Titanium watch uses circular digits.

SuujiMaru Watch transforms numbers into alien symbols.

Sam says: This concept began experimentally with sketching for hexagon based numbers. After a while, the numbers developed into these round ones, that consist of six circle segments and a center dot. I played with the number layout and soon everything reminded me of some sci-fi technology.

Junction Watch Maps Digital Time

This watch concept is inspired by the interlocking fluent mandala-like shapes of motorway junctions. The time is told by four digital numbers which are like four motorways that meet in the display section.
