Design submitted by Cory from the USA.
Cory says “The Skull and Crossbones on a black background, ‘Jolly Roger’ is instantly recognizable as the calling card of pirates throughout history. From Blackbeard and Henry Morgan, to Calico Jack Rackham and Captain Kidd, most all pirates would fly a variation of the Jolly Roger to strike fear in the hearts of their quarry.”

The wrist watch is controlled by sliding and gesturing the touch sensitive surface (see the animation in the video below). Continue reading
Design submitted by Sam from Germany.
Sam says: “Two ideas inspired me to come up with this watch design. The first came from thinking about Japan a lot these days. I have seen people wearing the white space with the red dot (the Japanese flag) in many variations. Be it a sticker or a button or a cap. I wanted to design a wrist watch that reminds me, that there is always a future for Japan. Other people have their own thoughts about it… My second idea was to make a simple and unusual analog watch design.

Design submitted by Jordan from Canada.
Jordan says: “The simplest eye, such as one found in micro-organisms, does nothing but detect whether the surroundings are light or dark. This eye, however, doesn’t even do that. I wanted an eye-like watch face that was both minimalistic, and visually appealing. Continue reading
Design submitted by Boris from Russia.
Boris says: “I thought about an easy way to understand what time is it now and wanted to combine this with something like retro style. In this LED watch design, wooden plates indicate the hour, and lights inside open to indicate the minutes passed in the current hour. Colored dots and stripes refers to the time of day, so you can always tell whether it is day, night or evening. Continue reading
Design submitted by Andy from the Ukraine.
Andy says: “My idea is based on a ribbon bracelet and the shape of women’s fashion jewelry. It also looks like 2 leaves from a tree. The design is in the shape of 2 independent electronic parts – 1 for hours telling and 2 for minutes telling. This design would be ideal for people who love original design, fashion, style and original ways of displaying time.” Continue reading
