(English) Mercury analogue watch with liquid metal time telling

Peter says: I wanted to come up with a back to basics analogue design with a hint of sci-fi which would be easy to make and traditional in its time telling. “Mercury” was born.

The time telling is traditional analogue using off the shelf movements. This twist in this case is that the hands and markers are organic in form and look like that they are a splat or splash of liquid metal or some kind of gelatinous alien lifeform.

(English) ZION e-paper watch is a colourful take on the digital time.

Sam says: This is a parallel development of a more feasible version of the ITO idea next to the ITO•E. I called this version ZION.

ZION uses colored segmented e-paper to display sharp numbers, aligning them vertically. The number style is reflected in the watch geometry – some sharp angles here and there, some small decent details, and looking generally simple.

Peter says: This concept is an evolution of an earlier design called “stealth” .

The original “stealth” concept featured a triangular shaped watch body with three displays showing the time in a choice of digital and digital analogue formats.This concept retains those features but with a more alien bio-engineered steathy shape.

I thought what would happen if i based a wrist watch on Male sperm cells fertilising a female ovum / egg. This was the idea behind the Conception design constructed in either IP, White Acetate or Steel. Using one of the following display types /  screen: LCD Touch, LED or E-ink / E-paper.

Peter says: This is “Exoskeleton” a variation on a theme of an earlier design called “Vertebrae“.

Like Vertebrae this design is inspired by armour and exoskeletons and features armour like plates that make up the body of the watch. The gaps between these plates supplies the time telling display.
