Equality e-paper watch with digits based on the ‘equals’ sign

Design submitted by Sam from Germany.

Sam says: I was experimenting with minimalistic numbers that were based on the equality sign. I ended up giving some segments angled ends to make the numbers better recognizable while staying futuristically minimalistic.

I’d like the display to be monochrome colored E-paper with a slight curve. Some cleverly placed gradients on top of the E-paper and thin gaps in the case don’t only look stylish but also help to distinguish between the numbers.

I like these 8 differently shaped bars making the display. Thanks to E-paper being always on, the Equality watch can be a stylish piece of time fashion.

I love these digits, Sam! :D If this design is made, and is appropriately slim, I would buy it in an instant! 5*/yes

I want a pink one so I can celebrate my feminine side! 5y

Sammy loves numbers!!! Umm, for some reason 5 and 2 present challenges. (Confusion…)

Oh yeah, you never know if the inclined ends are where the numbers begin or the vertical ones. After a day it should work fine hehe. Oh yeah, I wouldn’t mind wearing a pink one. Real men can wear pink xD Thanks for the fun DZ!

Hey Sam, Sorry but this is just not for me. I like the basic premis and Im impressed how readable the digits are considering how simple they are. but its just not my cuppa tea. Support worthy but I probably wouldnt buy (for myself anyway) Best of look anyway sir! :D

Hi Sam, at first, I thought the reading would be too complicated for me, but ultimately, I am surprised at the ease of reading.
    Beautiful project.

That’s nice. Complicated looking but in the end simple. I wish I could do this more effectively :) Thanks alot for your support Patrick!
