(English) Maori watch from a series of ethnic designs.

(English) Design submitted by Yatin from India.

Yatin says: Basically, I am a tattoo artist and designing is my passion one fine morning one of my friend Hemant came to me with this design challenge and we both sat together and studied the the designed by various artist and decided to create watch representing the culture of different countries their traditional designs.

The design i have submitted represents cultural design of New Zealand. The time evolve around the design of turtle & around its fins.

The people having tattoos or love tattoo art will defiantly fall for it even women’s fancy a tattoos.

The Most appealing part of my design is the culture evolving around the people and cultures of different part of the worlds and i am planing to create more designs representing all cultures of the world so i believe this will put the brand on international era and slowly spread its magical wings beyond international boundaries.

As a New Zealander (although I’m not Maori) top marks to you sir, it definitly captures the culture nicely and has an easy to read layout. 5/Y :)

I would also suggest having one with black, white and red on it as they are dominant colours in Maori art. Kudos on being a tattoo artist also, Im well on my way to getting a sleave completed :)

Im probably not the ideal market for this one as the cultual imagery used is not that familier to me. That said the way you have used that imagery to tell the time is great. Nice work Yatin! Best of luck

The best part of this design is the turtle, but it will be very small. If you submit more designs in this series, I would be happy with the most intricate elements being larger.

sure we’ll consider the suggestion in our future work
and thank you for your support

I like that idea. Now for this one, I like that the hours are placed on the exterior and not on the interior, because the single minute are in the middle. ( normally, it’s the opposite ) I wouldn’t buy because I don’t like the colors choice.
