Would you like them gift-wrapped madam? Thanks for the comment and the vote!
I don’t care how this think will work, I want it and need it ASAP this wicked watch! Black version hell yeah!!!!!
(the rendering is fantastico)
(you are now officially my favorite designer)
(keep it up and all the best!)
Crikey thats one hell of an accolade Firdaus! Although I imagine that will change when we see the next design to hit the blog! In the meantime I will enjoy it! Im glad you likey! Thanks for the comment and the stars!
That watch is quite amazing! I love the design! hope it comes out soon, and isn’t to expensive!
Hehe I hope for the same thing Starkiller! Thanks for the comment!
Ha! I’ve been waiting for this one. Its a thing of beauty. You know i love the mechanics and this watch is full of em. Great job Peter one of my favorites
Thanks Gordon, Im glad you likey! but I was really hoping for the banner: winner, winner, chicken dinner!
Maybe next time lol! Thanks for the comment and the vote!
WAIT THIS JUST IN!! This watch has just recieved the “WINNER WINNER TURKEY DINNER” award(ran out of chicken)
hehe thats more apt for the christmas period anyway! I thank you for the illustrious title!
Oh man that black one is ****. I agree with Heather – I’ll take three. These renders are amazing quality.
5*, good luck!
I must admit the black was the original and my favorite too! Im glad it pleases sir! Thanks for the comment and the stars Jordan!
WOW this is awesome!! One of the best concepts on the blog! I would buy this no matter the price!!! And i hope it wont be made of cheap material. Maybe metal or stainless steel. 5 out of 5
This comment is that good it sounds like I wrote it! lol (I didn’t by the way)
Im glad you like it Ben! I will keep my fingers crossed that TF choose to make it reality and in the right materials! x^^x
Thanks for the great comment!
5°/YES. This is epic. Peter, you’re very creative and a wonderful part of the blog. This concept is a sculpture, a space device, a steampunk dream! The last image with the three watches made me smile. Wanna wanna, gimme gimme. Good luck!!
Thanks a lot Sam! Thats very nice of you to say (if a little fluffy) Im glad you like this one! Yeah I though it would be nice to rty to re-create the trinity symbol using three watches, kinda works.
Thanks for the mushy comment and the vote!
outstanding, very cool. SS one for me
i love how it has some depth to it.
5/yes for sure!!!
One stainless steel for you sir! Yeah the depth was dictated by the angle of the rings needed to get all three to intersect. Im glad you likey, thanks for the comment and the vote!
Wow, wow, wow! That’s the one i’ve been looking for!
Lets hope its the one TF have been looking for too! Thanks for the comment!
Wonderful idea, great render! Black/green is my favorite.
Thanks a lot Lasz;o! The black and green seems to be the favorite so far! thanks for the comment and the stars!
Sorry for the bad typing…
Voted 5 stars the moment i saw it. Best design i’ve seen
I thank you for your stars and your positive words! Thanks a lot!
Very nice watch Pete, very nice!
To make it, it will be a different story, but the dream often requires exploits.
It is really good, this Pete!
5 x Yes.
Yeah I don’t know how easy it would be to make, hopefully TF will want to find a way!
Thanks a lot for your vote Patrick and the 5 yesses, its allways appreciated!
Another great idea Pete. Well done. ;o) 5Y It kind of reminds me of the alien machine in the movie Contact:
Cool image mushy, you should check out Saturn on my page that uses rings like a gyro!
Thanks for the comment and the vote!
I am a huge fan of ‘different’ watches, but this one has really caught my attention. I think the design looks great, a good price is great but I would prefere quality over price, a watch of that caliber deserves to be made to the highest standard. I can’t wait to see Peters next design.
Thanks a lot Ben, if you haven’t already check out my fb page PF Design (click on my yellow name to go straight there) there maybe another design than graps your attention too! Thanks for the comment!
wow! simply wow! not an easy one but a great time piece i hope TF collaborate with an other manufacturer to make it.
also the crown is missing but at this stage who cares… well done pete
Im glad you like it Rachid, yeah probably not the easiest watch to produce but hopefully will appeal enought for TF to try. I decided to use the three external parts of the viewing windows as controls. Again I dont know if this would be doable. I would be happy to see a conventional crown on the side if it aided production.
Thanks for the comment and the stars Rachid!
Hi TF, thank you for adding this design to the blog!
I did send an animation aswell, was it too large? I will resend (slightly smaller)
In the meantime here is the link:
Nice ! i love the design but unfortunately i think it will difficult to be manufactured .
You may be right Yoann, its definatley pushing the boundry of what TF could make. Its doable I think but whether it could be packaged small enough is anyones guess. Lets hope they at least look into it!
Thanks for the comment
man, I want one to. At least one. It looks like turbillon complication or something. very nice, 5 stars and yes.
I think it could ba achieved with a regular analogue movement and a gearbox splitting the three drives (hours and two groups of mins) with a drive gear for each ring. Sounds complicated but Im sure for a maker of analogue movements would be pretty straight forward. Thanks for the vote and the stars Gabriel!
I like this sooo much..Good luck to you.
Im glad you like it! thank you very much for the comment!
Peter … You are the ONE … it’s really a mind twister idea … beyond once imagination … every time with your designs … you just “Breaking The Code of Time” …
hehe Im glad you like it Ranjan. Its pretty simple when your used to it.
Its the manufacturer that will have the headache if they choose to make it! lol
Thanks as ever for the positive words!
Very nice design. Reminiscent of a watch that would be a lot more expensive. Very interested in this. Bought my son a TF watch for Christmas and it hasn’t left his wrist, he loves it, so if you can do these to the same quality, count me in, I need a new watch, and think I have just found the one. Worth waiting for, but dont make me wait too long.
Well done Peter.
Thank you very much atacam, I hope TF choose to make it and don’t make us wait to long either!
Thanks for the positive comment atacam!
I would love to buy this watch! I love it!
Im glad you like it. Thank you very much DJC!
Top gun, but what an idea, i am very impressed, it’s very beautiful, spectacular, still a great mind to think of such a mechanism, yet well done.
Im glad you like this Alain! I thank you for your positive words and vote!
Im loving this! this is so awesome! I would definitely by this if TF made it! 5*/Yes
I hope you get the chance one day! thanks for the comments and the stars CLP!
Hi Peter! I really like this design. I’m sure you get every vote on my phone, laptop and ipad. Yeah my trigadget supports tricircle watch design. Kapow!
Ummmm Triphone, Tritop and Tripad? If only you had a third leg you would be a Tripod!
Thanks for the comment Firdaus, but bear in mind the law of three means you must comment a third time! lol
Hey I have a tripod but it can’t vote, unfortunately. Yeah now its my 3rd comment here and it’s not obvious
I have added three new colour variants to my fb page album (PF Design) click on my yellow name to link straight there and check them out!
Also the link for the animation (not yet added to the blog) is in the description on the album, check it out.
I will add it here again too:
Just awesome! hopefully TF will produce it!
The black with green would look awesome on my wrist
5 and a big YESS
Im glad you like it! The black and green seems to be the most popular combination so far.
I hope TF give you the opertunity to have one on your wrist one day.
Big thanks for your commment and vote!
Great design, about time I see something here on the blog that is different and great. I’ve been keeping track of designs here but this is your best. I must say that the mechanism should be devoted to a complication watch with a tourbillon. In such case, you should take this design to URWERK instead as they are the ones to make very highly delicate but extravagent watches. This watch as a Tokyo Flash would be wasting its potential as a true mechanical tourbillon watch. Pete, I worked with Swiss Watch companies for designing, but this is a great concept that should be brought up to higher ups. I like how there is no ***** on the watch to adjust the time, seems like its adjusted by a touch sensor maybe on the three edges. You should experiment with different band shapes too. Keep it up, doors are always open.
Im glad you like this design. I have tried to do quite a selection of designs/concepts in the hope that the odd one will please the majority/right people. There are quite a few that havent yet made it onto the blog. Hopefully there are a few that will do as well as tricircle had done (so far). Yeah this design would probably suit URWERK or similar. If TF didnt want this design I would be more than happy for such companies to contact me if they were interested in it. Thanks for the feedback and the comment Tachyon!
I half don’t want you to make this watch because I would probably buy all three and spend all my money D:
hahaha start saving now and If TF choose to make it you will have plenty of money to buy all three when it becomes available for purchase! lol That would be a lovely burden to worry about!
Thanks for the epic comment Infectedtofu! (great name btw)
Hey, that watch looks Bad-F*cking-***. Each time I look at it, it always reminds me of some kind of luxury watch that I have heard of somewhere, I don’t know. You could have renamed this design “Trinity” because the pattern that the three circles make resembles the Trinity a little bit. And a limited edition version of the watch might be good (Gold-plated rings, glowing numbers just so you don’t have to turn the light on in the dark, whatever.) Just think what makes a limited edition watch unique and special.
Im glag you like it Maek, Yeah this design lends it self to different materials and finishes and would hopefully look really expensive and suite special editions etc. Yeah I thouht about Trinity as a name but decided on tricircle, seemed more fun at the time. Thanks for the feedback and the Bad *** Comment Maek!
Hey, thanks for the reply, man. You goin’ to post a GIF of how the thing is supposed to move? I already know how it is the movement is going to work, but I just want to see what the movement look like. And maybe experiment a little more on the design… Wait… It already looks perfect! ＾∀＾
Your very welcome! I like to answer all the comments my designs recieve, its the least I can do when people take the time. Yeah I did a very basic animation (Im pretty new to gif animations) and submitted it at the same time as the images. Frustratingly it hasn’t been added to this entry. I have since re-submitted a slightly shorter version just in case the original was too large (file size wise) and that hasnt been added either but if you click on this link you can see the uploaded version:
Thanks again for the comments!
Thanks a lot Gordon! Happy new year!
This is possibly thee coolest watch I have EVER seen! You seriouly need to put this on KickStarter to get this out to the masses! I NEED ONE NOOOOW!!!!!!
A friend mentioned Kickstarter before but I wouldn’t know where to start with a project like this.
Its a nice idea tho! Im glad you likey! Thank you very much Dre!
Happy New Year!
kickstarter is sounding better every day
This is pretty damn awesome it has to be said! The three rings look great and kind of classic looking too!
Its just so different to the other designs on this blog! This really needs to be made! 5 stars and Yes
Yeah a comment, it had got a bit quite around here recently! Im glad you like it! yeah I try to be a little different (not always sucesfully) Thanks for the commnet and the vote!
Crikey I dont look at the blog for a few days and miss this epicness! Where did this come from? I hope TF find a way of making this cos its just awesome! 10 stars and Yes, yes, yes!
Where did it come from? From the mind of a crazy person! lol.
Im glad you likey! I thank you for looking, commenting and the theoretical 10 stars!
Thanks TF for adding the link for the animation!
I have added a new LCD version of Tricircle to my fb page (PF Design) Hopefully it will be added here soon too. In the mean time please feel free to check out the images and animations on my page. Click on my yellow name at the top of this comment to link straight there.
I saw it already and I luv it!
Thank you for telling, yeah hopefully wont be too long before it hits the blog.
Thanks for the comment!
Beautiful !!!! I love the concept especially the silver and brown one !!! I hope TokyoFlash will make it to buy one
I hope for the same thing. Hopefully TF will add the LCD version soon which is well within their development and manufacturing capabilities, then its just a question of whether its deemed popular/desirable enough to take it further. Im glad you like it and thank you for your feedback!
Fantastic comment! Thanks!
SO AMAZING. PRODUCE THIS PLEASEEE. i wont care about the price. I would buy this in an instant. this is really imaginative.
Wow amazing comment! Im glad you like it! I hope TF give you the opertunity to buy it one day or the LCD version that will hopefully hit the blog soon, keep your eyes peeled for that one!
Thanks for the comment!
Please bring out this Clock … I love them now. Especially in black with green or blue display
The black and green seems to be the favorite colour combination. Check out my fb page (PF Design) for other colours and the LCD version. Thanks for the positive words!
Sign me up for two!!! Love the design. I should post a few of my own
Im glad you like it!, Thanks for the comment!
I would allways encourage people to send in their own ideas, the more the merrier, its what make the blog interesting! Have a go and best of luck!
Pete..i think youve done it….youve made the best watch youve ever done!! this is spectacular beyond words
hehe thanks Jun Im glad you likey!, lets hope the powers that be think the same also! keep your eyes peeled for the LCD version when it hits the blog! It looks very similar to this but is really easy to make! or you can check it out on my page, you know the way. Thanks for the spectacular comment!
I think design is already Pete’s signature. Keep designing cool watch guys!
Thanks Firdaus, its only cos I got people like you, Sam, Heather, Laszlo, Cory, Gordon, Patrick, Anders, etc etc to aspire too! Thats the beauty of the blog is it makes you raise your game because you not only want to be competative but also taken seriously by your peers etc!
So sick, looks very Celtic but also reminds me of the Borg.
will pre-order one within minutes of getting the email saying you can pre-order them.
Im glad you like it Colin, I agree it does have a Celtic look about it!
I hope that you get that e-mail one day!
Thanks for the sick comment!
This is a beautiful piece of art. Love the black one.
Congrats Pete !
That coming from the creator of “ADJUST” is a huge compliment, thank you very much Nico!
So, any word on this concept from TF? I was serious when I said I wanted this watch?!?!?
hehehe, no word yet atacam. There is an LCD version due to go on soon which is more feasible from a production perspective. Check it out on my fb page if you would like a preview (PF Design) click on my yellow name to link to the page! Thanks for the enthusiasim and the comment!
Incredible rendering Pete. Love your work!
Thanks a lot Avatara, you made my day with your nice comments, Thanks!
holy fuuuuuuuu……it has such high starts overall and time is almost over…i wish i had a mind like urs, this creation is epic! like nothing ever before…i cant wait to buy this
hehehe thanks Jun, yeah it been really well recieved. Its my highest score so far, it was hovering around 4.7 for a while but anything above 4.0 is a record for me. I just hope the LCD version is as well recieved when it hits the blog. To get a mind like mine just add booze! lol I hope you get the chance to buy this one day or a version of this anyway. Thanks for the epic comment and the compliment!
This watch needs making. First class pete
I can’t disagree with you! lol, Im glad you like it! I hope you like the LCD version when it hits the blog too.
Thanks for the kind words!
So when exactly does this watch come out? Can Not Wait! Truly a great looking time piece..
I really really really really wish I could answer that one Starkiller! its in the hands of higher powers! thanks for supproting this design, keep your eyes peeled for the LCD version that should be hitting the blog in the not too distant future! Thanks for commenting
I want this watch now!
Can i buy this watch anytime?
The black one looks brilliant.
Only TF can answer your question, Its in their hands. x^^x
Im glad you like it and hope you get the chance to buy one day.
PS keep you eyes peeled for the LCD version comming to the blog soon.
Thanks for the brilliant comment!
Wow, just wow…
I’d love to witness this mechanical beauty see the light of day, I’m a little worried about *how* it moves too…but then again if TF does manage to make it work it should help add to the mystique…
Hi Kuro/Shiro, the complication of the mechanism seems to be the biggest concern with this concept. This is why I have also done an LCD version. It looks very similar to this but would be easy for TF to make using familier methods. Hopefully that will hit the blog soon and be as well recieved has this has been.
If you wish to see it before then look at my fb page (PF Design) click on my yellow name to link straight there.
Thank you for comment and the wow!
Time is short for this entry. So I will quickly summarise its time on the blog.
First of all I would just like to thank everyone for their votes, comments and shares.
I’ve been really blown away by how well recieved this design has been and the really positive words and support that have been bestowed on it. The score is a record for me so I’m really pleased by that.
Hopefully MKII the LCD version will be embraced as well as this version when it arrives on the blog, as it is completely feasible from a techincal perspective and uses tried and tested technology familer to TF. (so no excuses there! lol)
Thanks to TF as ever for adding this design to the blog.
Pete from the UK
this is on e of the sickest watches i have ever seen. really really hope it is made into reality. ∞*. by far the best.
Thanks a lot for your support n! x^^x
hey pete.. fantastic watch! looks very technical to build but maybe not, would be interesting if TF thought it would be feasable without too much technical development. I think the whole triangularish shape looks very classic too. almost tudor? anyways, epic design. best of luck with it.
Thanks Keiron (I didn’t realise comments were still open Doh!) Yeah the complication seems to be the biggest concern with this design although the theory of the movement is pretty straight forward. I have since done an LCD version which would be much easier for TF develop should they choose too. Should hit the blog soon!Hopefully one of them will catch TF’s eye! Thanks for the comment!
this is an awesome looking watch, if made, make sure the black with green lights looks identical to the pic. I’d like a celtic timelord watch =]. looks awesome, i hope it gets made.
I checked out the lcd version, it looks nice, but not nearly as awesome as the metal version; hopefully they can get the kinks worked out.
Thanks for stopping by, yeah the black and green seems to be the most popular combination.
Thanks for checking out the LCD version, its more in keeping with the technology that TF use at the moment. I would love to see either version make it to production but must admit the analogue is still my favorite too. Thanks for the positve words!
