Andrew says: Vortex is a Torus shaped USB rechargeable Digital Touch Screen Wristwatch inspired by The Film Star Gate. It features a rotating / Spinning Animation Display that completes a full rotation once a minute. Vortex has multiple selectable color (Wheel)LCD Back light & is available with a Black / White Display

Peter says: This is “Digicoil” a evolution/mutation of an earlier design called “Digital Warp“.
“Digital Warp” featured an LCD display showing digital numbers which were warped around the centre of the display.

Peter says: I really have a fondness for LED watches and the sense of depth and mystery the displays can give you. LCD or TFT rely on the graphics or shapes of the blocks to create a feeling of depth. The trouble with deep looking displays is they tend to make for a deep watch which isn’t always appealing to all.

Andrew says: Ophidian: Despite to what scientist believes dinosaurs did not all die off millions of years ago during an asteroid. Some the evolved in Humanoid creatures some fled the earth in star ships to establishing a new home world but to others remained on earth & now disguise themselves.

Sam says: The inspiration for ZIPR came a long time ago when I was working on a hexagon binary watch concept that used transparent plastic blades to guide LED light. I thought about segmentation and interlocking back then but I forgot about the idea until recently.

Andrew says: Surge: It is the year 3013 & humanity has added created cybernetic organ implants to extend their life spans. These Implants however required constant monitoring so the every individual that has a implant/s has a Surge monitor (wristwatch) to monitor it power levels. Surge Is based on Iron Man’s Chest ARC reactor that sends surges of Arc energy to power his Robotic armour.

The original Hybrid concept was popular when it featured on the blog in March 2012, but proved to be too costly to make and technically difficult due to the heavy metallic disc. Peter says: “This is “Raptor MkII”. People who are familiar with the original “Raptor” design will remember the racing car and spaceship like hints in the form. This version carries on that theme but in a more conventional layout and using a more regular screen/display to show the time.

Patrick says: I wanted to make parallel bands like floors of a building.
The “Stairs-Watch” is rather a jewel watch as she plays with the reflections of the surrounding light, with a reading time very easy, yet cryptic at first.
