Peter says: I was trying to come up with a simple but unusual time display using a bar graph like layout.
It would have been very easy and maybe a little predictable to use LEDs or LCD blocks to do this when I had a little Eureka moment and realised that it could be very easy to achieve with a standard analogue movement.

Patrick says: To favor girls, I wanted to reflect on a Zen watch, designed like a jewel “fashion” representing the sacred and mythical mountain of Fuji San.

Sam says: I checked my thermometer recently (thanks to a summer flu) and and it’s one that works with quicksilver. It made me think about a mirror LCD display that could pretend to be made of quicksilver drops. I decided for a simple analog based digital display. The inspiration came from the observation of quicksilver forming drops before joining a bigger mass of itself.

Delphine says: I’m an amateur guitar player and I love music so I’d love to wear a guitar watch.
I see the design made with a metal case with luminous lines representing guitar strings. The strap is made in leather with metal frets (like a guitar fretboard) closed by a “jaws” clasp.
I tell the time on a screen. The numbers are made with string lines.

Laszlo says: When I cut it in half in the classic segments, I discovered an interesting effect.
This is what I used to the design of this watch. The larger (outer) segments indicate the hours, the lower (inner) segments indicate the minutes.
Large LEDs with a little animation is very impressive effects can be achieved.
I recommend this for those who prefer the of the cryptic appearance of the time.

Andrew says: Rolo Dex (MK2) is based on a retro mechanical flip alarm clock, but instead of using a mechanical movement it uses an E-ink / LCD touch Screen Flip Clock animation like those on a Smart phone or PC. The wristwatch is available in three Styles (Flip Tiles / Digits): Black / White, White / Black & a limited Edition: Black & White / LED. Each of which is available the various materials Shown.

Firdaus says: If you purchase an electronic product with TFT LCD screen, it can be annoying if you found out later that your screen have an or several dead or defective pixels. I got inspiration from dead pixel to design a Dead Pixel Watch.

Peter says: I had an image in my head of a triangular faceted watch which looked like something based on a stealth bomber or the triangular shaped ufo from an episode of the X files.
This image developed into “Stealth” (you see what I did there?) A triangular faceted watch.

Igor says: I was looking at some space and pilot watches and I wanted to create something with that theme. Sharp and robust design were main words. This model could be a new breed of LED pilot and space style watches.
