Design submitted by Firdaus from Malaysia and Heather from the USA.
Firdaus & Heather say: Decode the time with CODEX watch design.
The design is about decoding the time with coded numbers. Decoding method is read up to down for hour and left to right for minute and second. The watch design Β can also be used tell the date.
This design is for those who love unique watch with cryptic identity but at the same time very easy to tell the time.
CODEX watch design can be made available with different unisex style that is also stylish, futuristic and Tokyoflash!

I can perfectly see you two in that concept. Epic + epic = OMG. I like the thought that has been put into the reading of the numbers and I like their edgy style and the pyramid case! 5β²/YES

Another awesome collaboaration.. This watch is very cool, love the simple but cryptic face and nice subtle details on the strap. Also the similarity between this and Kisai Night Vision means that it will fit it seamlessly with the other TF watches. Best of luck, and merry xmas to everyone on the blog π

Thank you scott for the input, unfortunately no, I need Heather in particularly this watch design, its fair 50-50 work and idea in this collaboration, especially on the display, its been tweaked by Heather so that is huge contribution and we have to respect the intellectual idea. Other than that, she is one of my favorite designer so it’s really a pleasure to be able to do this coop work.
The result is here, so what do you think of this watch design? That is what we like to hear.
Thanks π

Firdy and Heather, I like the idea of the pyramid but not the digits – they just look like they’ve been crammed in any old how. The graphics are great, but the design is a bit too angular and aggressive looking for me. I’ve given this 3*.

We are thank you for your feedback Mushy. We are continuing submitting idea here so in order to make better idea for the future honest feedback from the audiences is critical. Now i know what type of watch you are not preferrable. Ill take note and remember that point. Looking forward to see your next design too.
Optional comment; thank you mushy for the feedback. I understand nothing is perfect in this word and nobody love the same. You rock!

So do you Firdy. ;o) It’s funny cos I made a pyramid out of the letters in PYRAMID a couple of years ago. I was going to make it into a painting.

BTW this design was submitted last year, and you are the 1st guy who comment this year. So it’s kind of interesting in Tokyoflash blog, to be able to comment on last year design, isn’t ordinary.
You just rock!

Hello Kai
You can buy Tokyoflash watches at http://www.tokyoflash.com/en/watches/1/
This is just a concept idea, so you might be able to buy once (only IF) it becomes reality, though there’s no guarantee.
Thank you
