Henry says: I wanted something unique than a traditional round or square watch. Watching some sci-fi movies I liked the idea of a stretch/oblong face. Afterwards I tried to make it simple to read and design while having a futuristic look and have the face able to flip for right wrist wearing.
The band and case will be metal. Touch the round metal button to display the time, hold to display date. On the other end of the unit will be the two setting button to adjust the time, format 12/24 hour, date, and left or right wrist.
I’m designed it for people like me who wants something a little more unique. I also aimed it at people who likes the sleek futuristic look on a watch.
The unique design is not found in any place. The simplicity of the time should be easily read by anyone while still maintaining the unique and futuristic look.

I love this timepiece. I want to see in production now. It doesn’t need all sorts of fancy functions, it just needs to tell the time. Look at that radical new concept and futuristic design. its so sleek, its so new. I want it on my arm. More watches should be designed like this.

I like the concept and the simple digits that meet the borders of the display. I’m really into a-symmetry so the case shape looks cool to me. My only negative is it feels too wide. Lose a little width and I’m in! (that sounded kinda wrong! lol) 5/Y best if luck and welcome to the blog!

or if you really like it to be as is, maybe have the left most part of it slide out from the middle like a spring loaded button to read the time and when your done slide it back to keep it compact.

Hi, Henry! My only suggestion would be to slant the left arm of the ‘4’ to the same angle as the ‘7’, and lose the red bar needed to distinguish the ‘4’ from the ‘9’. Otherwise the red looks like a workaround/bandaid. I like the asymmetry of your design!

This kinda reminds me of the yu-gi-oh card holder the people use, its a really cool design. Simple to tell time, and an easy way to distinguish the time from the date and the meridian. 5* and yes. Good Luck!

The only downside for me is the big long display. But the flippability is cool option and the scroll panel is nice. I love the digits! So simple and so cool just by using this border. The red elements break the monotony – also good. Definitely worth to think deeper towards production so 5*/ with a less extreme case it’s a YES.

I like this design and agree with the idea that we’re all a bit tired of stereotypical Disc or Square watches- I do agree with others who have written in saying that the width needs to be less- in its original form, can imagine it getting caught on clothing, etc. – love the digital display- like the idea.. a little fine tuning and you’ve got a winner!

Thank you all for the feedback. I don’t mind the idea of losing a little of the width, since I designed the watch for all of you to wear and does not lose the overall design I envisioned. Again I thank everyone of you for the feedback and ideas to make this watch a stronger design. Hope to see this in production myself.

I like the idea and the look but it would need to be less wide or have 2-3 individually-adjustable wristbands, even if it would be less practical in my cold/snowy winter. I would buy.
