Time Rotates

Like split layers of a clock face, this concept shows hours and groups of five minutes in two separate dials. Hours on the left and groups of five minutes on the right; great for reading the approximate time at a glance. Four single minutes are indicated by the circles inside the dials and the shapes above where the dials meet.

The long button on the right is to light up the display and the port on the left is for USB charging. The case shape and strap design maintain a simple appearance. Continue reading

Prehistoric Futuristic

The skeletal frame of this concept creates a completely unique appearance. In the spaces either side of the face, where the frame is split, the operation buttons and USB charging port are located.

Bright blue LED segments make up the interface which displays the time; hours in the outer ring and groups of five minutes in the inner most ring, in the same position as numbers on a clock face. Single minutes 1-4 are located in between.

The screen is covered with mineral crystal glass and the stainless steel strap is narrow to fit in with the theme. Continue reading

Light Constellation

The positions of numbers and lines on the face of this concept creates a pattern much like a constellation of stars. Red LEDs light up to display the time, which can be read easily due to the numbers within the lenses.

Robotic Shapes

It appears like layers of metal make up the case of this concept watch design. The various faces of metal run in different directions and at different angles creating a robotic look.

Bright blue LEDs display the time, the shaped segments running in line with angles of the case. Hours run in a clockwise direction on the left of the interface. Groups of five minutes run in a clockwise direction on the right, in the same position as numbers on a clock face. Four single minutes are positioned in the center. Continue reading

A stainless steel design with a split interface that displays the time with LCD but has an LED backlight so that the time can always be read but can be illuminated with LEDs.

Hours are shown by dots and increments of five minutes are shown with circles in the lower screen. These correspond to the position of numbers on a clock face. Four single minutes are displayed in the upper screen.

The groove around the edge of the case is a nice touch and the buttons on the side of the case achieve a fit with shapes from the display and lower screen. Continue reading
