Peter says: I have always liked furniture and other products made out of formed and laminated materials like ply-wood. This type of material lends itself to ribbon like geometric and organic forms  which often have very dynamic looks. I decided it would be nice to design a watch around these types of forms with a laminated look, “Delamination” was born.

Karaoke watch sings the time.

Andrew says: Karaoke a speaking watch that features a LCD or E-ink display screen. This design inspired by the Speaking Clock telephone service which anyone can call on the telephone & find out the correct time: United Kingdom. This watch come preloaded with the official language of your country of origin further languages & guest voice can be uploaded from the Tokyo Flash Website via a USB port/ cable.

L|NK e-paper watch brings a touch of smart.

Sam says: There are two trends that inspired me to make the concept for L|NK. Tokyoflash once commented this on one of my designs and pointed towards an exciting future: “…it would work well in e-paper. There is a monochrome variety (e.g.: black/red, black/blue, black/pink) which we are working hard to develop into watches. It can’t come soon enough as far as we are concerned as it will really open up possibilities.” Watches that are connected to your phone or computer, are becoming more and more popular so I gave another smartwatch a chance.

Camalien LED watch …almost ALIVE!

Peter & Sam say: The initial idea for Camalien was a watch that changes its colour with the mood of the wearer. But mood is an abstract thing that could be dozens of measurable things in reality. We kept the colour changing aspect and gave the watch a camera.
