Sam says: “My idea comes from the code displays from the inspiring movie The Matrix. I really like these “raining” numbers and tried to make something similar for a wrist watch. I am not sure about the feasability. I can imagine an LED layer on top of a light-sheet. That light-sheet would have a highly reflective surface to provide a good readability during day time.

LED Bars Concept Watch Design

Laszlo’s concepts just get better and better. This is another beautifully presented idea, the design shows hours 1-12 on the left, five minute groups on the lower right and four single LEDs on the upper right block. Shinjugai – A Pearl Of A Watch Design

Patrick’s says his latest concept is ideal for both women and men and is the first LED watch he’s seen that opens. “Shinjugai” in Japanese literally translates as “shell that makes a pearl” which echoes the fact that the top of the watch opens up like a shell to release the time… that is the pearl. He likes the idea of putting a system on a removable LED Watch.
