Design submitted by Cory from the USA.
Cory says: “Ninjas attacked me as I was walking to work. I had only my wits to save me. As everyone knows, if there is a lone Ninja, he can fight off an entire army by himself, but if there is a large group of them, they drop like flies. This is the law of the Ninja, I’m not sure why that is, but there you have it. From this encounter came the notion of a watch made of Ninja tools.

Laszlo says: “This is an analog watch, with electroluminescent backlighting (yellow or green). The light shining through on two screen-printed acryil dials indicates the time. The fixed hand is printed on the inside of the glass.
The time reading on this watch design is very simple. The dials move in a clockwise direction and the time is always shown in the window at the 12 o’clock position. Read the rest of this entry »

Design submitted by Jonny from the UK.
Jonny says: “I was fed up seeing really awesome concept watches that I could not buy. It struck me that by law a watch must be a face and a strap. We are unable to buy the watch with a display all the way round your wrist designed by Peugeot or what ever. I wanted a concept that was realistic. Also… every time I look at my watch the face has disappeared to the underside of my wrist. Therefore I designed what looks like a heavy and expensive yet totally kickin’ rad solution. This time, I use an imaginary center line to divide the watch into two parts: One always black, the other one whatever is possible. I planned to let “the other side” be also transparent even. So all the necessary technology needs to be hidden in the black part. Read the rest of this entry »
