Jordan says: “Why are watches limited to button activation? Why can’t they be activated a different way? Just as I was wondering that, I walked by a slot machine, and Addiction was born.

This watch features 3 slots, sporting 128 bright LEDs. The time is displayed in the same way as normal digital watches or clocks, lighting up the time. What happens when the time goes above 9:59 though, there’s only 3 slots? Obviously, fitting “10” into a space that small wouldn’t work well. That’s why any time, 10:00 to 12:59 is a ‘jackpot hour’ The animation happens as it normally would, but once the reel stops spinning, the lights will scroll to white from left to right. 11:29 would appear as 1:29 in white LED text, 10:29 as 0:29 in white, and 12:29 as 2:29, obviously in white. See the animation.

Anyone can wear this watch, not just those with a gambling addiction. This is one slot machine where you don’t have to be 18+ to play. The lever activation makes this design obviously different from the rest. Gold colored and rectangular watches are also sparse, making this watch a bit more unusual.”

      • YOU KNOW YOU JUST MISSED SOMETHING! This watch should have a lucky time 777 appears randomly when you activate the machine, it will add the excitement like wow its my lucky time, hooray!!!! or you will keep activate the machine many time to see the lucky time…. hmmm when is my lucky time….?? When is my next lucky time?? Then that comes the addiction since this machine won’t vomit coins!!! hahahaha

      • That’s a creative idea. Honestly, I was planning something around the time 7:77, but I couldn’t figure a completely logical way to factor it in. Randomness, as you suggested, is a really good idea, but may be annoying when your in a rush to find the time… It could also have been randomly activated by a timer, but then the wearer of the watch wouldn’t be involved, and probably wouldn’t even see the 7:77.

  2. wow i just designed a slot machine watch, mine is a little different. Your design is great, looks much nicer that the Seahope jackpot. But it looks like you left a lot of empty space under the display.

    • Honestly, I tried putting some stuff there, moving the display down, and whatnot, but I found it looked best as it is now.

      I haven’t seen your slot machine watch yet, but I’ll be sure to check it out.

  3. as much as i love this watch, it only goes to 19 as an hour. colored goes to 9, then you’d get the white 0, then 1-9, but then what about hours 20-24? you need to have something for those hours. work o it a little. just pointing that out, but love the idea!

    • It’s actually only 12 hour time. 0:00 in white is 10:00, 1:00 in white is 11:00, and 2:00 in white is 12:00.
