Laszlo says: I simplified the look of the numbers and this is the result.

You can select what you want see on the high contrasted LCD display: the time or date. The first two digits are is the hours or months the second two digits are is the minutes or days. First it might look a bit characteristic but could be very well recommend for both men and women because it is just a few millimeters wider like the strap.

Vertebrae: If Aliens wore watches

Peter says: Ever since I started submitting designs for the blog I have been trying to think of a nice design based on Armour, Exoskeletons, and Mecha. This design is inspired by those things to achieve an bio-mechanical look. I wanted an industrial feel with a technical detailed look. “Vertebrae” is the result.  This one probably isn’t for the ladies.

CODE watch uses alien binary symbols

Wilhelm says: The CODE: Inspired by the combination of my love for binary LED watches, industrial art and stainless steel, the idea came up for a watch with a cryptic code in its display that stands out to be interesting and eye catching all the time, whether the LEDs are on or off, something many LED watches are lacking.

Helicoil watch spirals up your wrist

Peter says: From the beginning of my involvement with this blog I have had a fascination with trying to show the time in 3D. One of my early design that did this was called “Rotor” which had an analogue watch hand that showed the minutes like a conventional analogue watch but the hours were shown in the vertical plane. This works and makes for an interesting concept, trouble is of course that this makes for a clunky form and would be difficult to make.
