Design submitted by Justin from the UK.
Justin says: I wanted to strip away as much as possible when it came to designing this watch. Hexagons seem popular, so I began with that. Then I gradually took it down to the minimum amount of LED’s whilst still retaining that ever so crucial “ease of use”.
Design submitted by Peter from the UK.
Peter says: I was trying to think of ways to make cryptic digits using an LCD display consisting of simple blocks which could be easily animated. A graphic equalizer instantly came to mind.

Peter says: The name is “Borgy” in origin, as the watch will be linked to a smart phone creating a small collective. The phone will be “1 of TWO”
The basic premise for my design is that the borders of the icons tell the time in an always-on column on the display. This column is easily seen as it is displayed inverted to the rest of the display and continues a contrasting stripe that runs through the strap. (I have used a metallic LCD with black background for my examples. This used in conjunction will coloured glass gives a nice contrast)
Design submitted by Jose from Spain.
Jose says: This new concept displayed to the user the time according to your choice: Code -by default- a simple alien key 🙂 based on the known sequence 12-5-9 or if you prefer with numbers.
Design submitted by Igor from Serbia.
Igor says: I was inspired by boat windows and the evergreen NATO straps.
Scuba have a steel case, with an orange lug that goes trough watch case. On bezel are orange markers. The numbers are specialy designed for this model.
A target group would be amateurish water athletes, also young people who like a bit classic watch case and futuristic time telling.
I wanted to create a cool diving LCD watch that can be wearable on any occasion.

Peter says: This is “Trylon Lite” an simplified version of the original Trylon concept.
In the prospect that Trylon should get a second chance at development I have had a few thoughts regarding simplification. In order to reduce watch case/modual size I have taken the lid hinge and latch outside of the case cavity. I have done a few variations which have their own merits.
Design submitted by Justin from the UK.
Justin says: This design was to be the eighth in my collection so I thought it would be quite apt to start with an octagon. Why not?!
As usual I didn’t really start with a specific style in mind…these things just evolve as time goes on…needless to say it has evolved into my favorite design so far! Hope you like…Octavius.
Design submitted by Peter from the UK.
Peter says: I was trying to think of a really simple and intuitive design with a sober look.
I came up with “mono” a back to basics, minimalistic LCD design based on a single hand style analogue format.
