Clarence-Junius says: As an artist I use the color wheel a lot which inspired me to use that as a theme for this design. The vivid hues of a color wheel would look great as a time piece.

Design submitted by Ignacio from Spain.
Ignacio says: This is a redesign of my first idea published on tokyoflash blog, Ronu. I always loved my first idea, but in 2011 (the year I designed it), I had no idea of 3D, as you can see. It’s some ugly the design I did, isn’t?
That’s why I redesign it, trying to do the best I know to date, trying to refresh it, to upgrade it.
Design submitted by Peter from the UK.
Peter says: This is “Mesh” a back to basics disc type analogue watch.
The inspiration for this concept is the old “mysteron” UFOs from the “Captain Scarlett” animated tv show from yesteryear. The UFO spun as it flew and had a metallic wire frame look to it which really caught the light. I have tried to get a similar feel without being too literal.
Kisai Maru is the eighth fan-submitted concept to become reality from the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog. The idea for Kisai Maru’s display was submitted in March 2011 by a reader of the blog and fan of Tokyoflash, Samuel Jerichow from Germany.
Design submitted by Marko from Serbia.
Marko says: I was inspired by planet Saturn. Unlike traditional analog watch, Saturn watch displays only the digits to represent the time while the rests remain concealed under the disk.

Peter says: This is “Turbofan” a remake of an earlier design called “Fan”.
The face of the watch is inspired by the blades of a fan. This inspiration makes for a technical looking dial that kind of looks like armour plating that constantly animates with the movement of the hands.

This watch design is a fairly conventional analogue disc watch with a more 3D look. Continue reading
Kisai Uzumaki is the sixth fan-submitted concept to become reality from the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog. The conceptual idea for Kisai Uzumaki was submitted in February 2011 by a reader of the blog and fan of Tokyoflash, Firdaus Rohman from Malaysia. Continue reading
Design submitted by Peter from the UK.
Peter says: “This is “CC” which stands for “Concentric Chronograph”. I wanted to come up with a watch with multiple displays which are concentric around each other, rather than the traditional two or three small displays mounted on one large display. Continue reading
