Peter says: This is “Induction” an evolution of an earlier design of mine called “Vent”. The basic premis with Vent was that the main part of the face of the watch featured a louvered grille that framed an LED array. Anders says: Being an illustrator, I’m familiar with raster patterns. I realized this could be used in a watch display. Taking my design cue from halftone rasters used in graphic novels and design, as well as on the edges of some car and train windows, I came up with this hexagonal display.

Peter says: I had an image in my head for a semi-organic shaped watch with a narrow LED display. The image had a alien robot kind of look which was industrial but not too aggressive in its language. “Insular” was the outcome.

Laszlo says : LCD version of my older 12-5-9 style concept in new stylish case.
Very easy to read. The outer twelve segments surrounding the face indicate the hours, the five big inner segments show 10 minutes group, and the nine small are the single minutes.
The LCD screen is radically reduces the power consumption.

Anders says: Sketching display layouts, I hit upon the idea of dividing an LED display by running wires above it. After refining the idea I had this; Cage. The display comprises 5 rows of 9 LED segments, telling time in the good old 12-5-9 format.

Peter says: This is “UFO – Half Hunter” This is a redesign of my original UFO design which featured on the blog in October 2011.

Peter says: This is “Trylon LCD” an LCD version of the original Trylon concept.
Like the original design this watch is inspired by the image of the “flux capacitor” from the time traveling Delorean from the “back to the future” movies combined with a hint of Cylon. The name “Trylon” came from the combination of the “Y” shape face and Cylon like display.

Peter says: This design was inspired by a computer game logo from a game I played recently. As soon as I saw the logo I thought it would make a great watch face. “Hexecule” was the result.

Matthew says: I came up with this unique design just a few days ago while I was bored, and looking at the blank lines on my piece of paper. I thought that I could incorporate these lines into a way to tell time.
