Nev says: My fascination with images of distant stars and galaxies has meant I have always wanted a watch containing a starfield with star flares showing the time, so here’s ‘STARS’.

Justin says: Vortex was the result of two minds coming together, both mine and my good friend Simon. We discussed and doodled one day and then once he had left I sat down at my PC and got busy with the CAD part and tweaking the aesthetics and minor details.

Pater says: This design is inspired by the modern trend in car design for LED head lights.
These new lights are becoming far more futuristic, detailed and elaborate than the more traditional bulb and reflector type that they replace. Its this futuristic elaborate look that made me think of watch displays and how this could be incorporated.
“Sentinel” was the result.

Justin says: I wanted to create a watch with an artistic, minimalist look. LED watches are great but sometimes you need an elegant and stylish design on your wrist. I have tried to mix style, cryptic and easy into one. I came up with the E-paper based…Squared²

Patrick says: While surfing the Web, I noticed that my “Flying-Watch” was always displayed on multiple Websites (a project positioned on the site of Tokyoflash since nearly 4 years), so I decided to update it by adding some additional features.

Patrick says: Seeking a reading with concentric circles, I arrived on a pattern approaching darts or share a cake. With technology “e-paper”, that allows the use of an extremely flat case and contrasted drawings for reading.

Patrick says: The idea came looking for an elegant watch for both women and men, with a slightly cryptic reading like as my “Fuji-Watch“.

Justin says: This design was to be the eighth in my collection so I thought it would be quite apt to start with an octagon. Why not?!
As usual I didn’t really start with a specific style in mind…these things just evolve as time goes on…needless to say it has evolved into my favorite design so far! Hope you like…Octavius.
Design submitted by Peter from the UK.
Peter says: I was trying to think of a really simple and intuitive design with a sober look.
I came up with “mono” a back to basics, minimalistic LCD design based on a single hand style analogue format.
