Laser Timing

A concept wrist watch that uses a laser light to display the time. With a touch of the button on the side, a beam of light is sent out of the front of the watch through a small window and the laser within reflects the time onto a surface where the watch is pointed.

The time display appears like a target: hours in the outer ring, groups of five minutes on the second ring and single minutes on the inner most ring. The blank face and dark stainless steel case create a mysterious look. Continue reading

Time Line

An e-paper design with a linear time display; the progression of hours and minutes are shown by markers moving down the line and around the side of your wrist, the points on the scale indicating units of time.

The date is shown in a similar way on the left side of the display and this concept will also notify you of messages, emails and calls to your cell phone via Bluetooth to the e-paper interface as well as with a vibration alert.

This design would be USB rechargeable with a leather wrist band. Continue reading

E-Clock

An e-paper design that shows the time in two different ways in one watch; digitally and with lines.

The wrist band is made of a thin sheet of stainless steel that wraps around your wrist like a bracelet, the e-paper is positioned beneath this band to form the time and information display.

The watch vibrates to give message, mail and call notifications from your cell phone and these will appear on the screen via Bluetooth wireless technology. With this design, the buttons are positioned at the top of the band. Continue reading

Time Rotates

Like split layers of a clock face, this concept shows hours and groups of five minutes in two separate dials. Hours on the left and groups of five minutes on the right; great for reading the approximate time at a glance. Four single minutes are indicated by the circles inside the dials and the shapes above where the dials meet.

The long button on the right is to light up the display and the port on the left is for USB charging. The case shape and strap design maintain a simple appearance. Continue reading

Prehistoric Futuristic

The skeletal frame of this concept creates a completely unique appearance. In the spaces either side of the face, where the frame is split, the operation buttons and USB charging port are located.

Bright blue LED segments make up the interface which displays the time; hours in the outer ring and groups of five minutes in the inner most ring, in the same position as numbers on a clock face. Single minutes 1-4 are located in between.

The screen is covered with mineral crystal glass and the stainless steel strap is narrow to fit in with the theme. Continue reading

Light Constellation

The positions of numbers and lines on the face of this concept creates a pattern much like a constellation of stars. Red LEDs light up to display the time, which can be read easily due to the numbers within the lenses.

Simply connect the dots to read the time; e.g. 4+50+3 = 4:53. The display is presented in a simple round case and as an added touch, each lens is convex and raised above the surface of the face. Continue reading

Double Time

A twin-screen design with blue digital tube LEDs beneath smoked black lenses in a stainless steel case. The wide face displays hours and minutes in two separate windows.

Hour and five minute blocks are located in the same positions as numbers on a clock face so the time can be read easily. The operation button and charging port at the sides of the case add to the robotic character appearance. Continue reading

Robotic Shapes

It appears like layers of metal make up the case of this concept watch design. The various faces of metal run in different directions and at different angles creating a robotic look.

Bright blue LEDs display the time, the shaped segments running in line with angles of the case. Hours run in a clockwise direction on the left of the interface. Groups of five minutes run in a clockwise direction on the right, in the same position as numbers on a clock face. Four single minutes are positioned in the center. Continue reading

Dual Screen

A stainless steel design with a split interface that displays the time with LCD but has an LED backlight so that the time can always be read but can be illuminated with LEDs.

Hours are shown by dots and increments of five minutes are shown with circles in the lower screen. These correspond to the position of numbers on a clock face. Four single minutes are displayed in the upper screen.

The groove around the edge of the case is a nice touch and the buttons on the side of the case achieve a fit with shapes from the display and lower screen. Continue reading
