Henry says: I wanted something unique than a traditional round or square watch. Watching some sci-fi movies I liked the idea of a stretch/oblong face. Afterwards I tried to make it simple to read and design while having a futuristic look and have the face able to flip for right wrist wearing.

This design inspired by the Speaking Clock telephone service which anyone can call on the telephone & find out the correct time: United Kingdom. This watch come preloaded with the official language of your country of origin further languages & guest voice can be uploaded from the Tokyo Flash Website via a USB port/ cable.

I had the idea for the original analogue Tri-Hub a while back, the basic premise being the time would be displayed via three cylinders mounted on a centre “Hub”.

Firdaus says: Dated back in 2011, I designed this watch but hesitated to submit it to the TFJDS blog. I was afraid it might look quite similar to Uzumaki concept design. Recently during digging some old files in my computer, I stumbled upon this design and thought to give it a chance and submit it this time considering it doesn’t actually look similar to realized version of Uzumaki.

Gordon says: My friend told me I should make a large format watch so I did. Time telling is pretty obvious, I think people with pinky rings and those who want pinky rings will wear this watch.

Peter says: This is ‘Drone’. I wanted to come up with a new watch using elements of Turbine, I thought what could be better than one Turbine?………..four Turbines was my answer.
