Yoann says: For a long time, I like to make some graphic creation in my free time and I used to put on it my little logo and “YAL” as a signature. I thought it will be cool to design a watch concept with it ! So, I took my pencil, turned on the tron music and began to create a watch with my inspiration.

Ignacio says: Curiously, I had a pencil which projected three shadows. That inspired me for a design that, after modification, resulted in this design (which is quite different, the original design consisting of circles).

Laszlo says: I wanted to design a watch which attracts the eye with a continous animation and easy to read.
Pulse is an LCD watch with effects always on. The time is displayed for 5 seconds when you press the button. The reading is similar to traditional watches. In a dark environment you can turn on the backlight.

Lloyd says: This watch design is called “Arashi” after the Japanese word meaning “storm”. It was inspired by a number of things, including the phrase “Time is an abstract concept”, modern art and, of course, thunderstorms!

Firdaus says: This is sequel of my previous Day Watcher concept. Now redesigned to be more minimal, stylish, added extra functionality and incorporated with solar panel to support longer use.

Peter & Sam say: The initial idea for this LED watch came from the so called Penrose Stairs. These imaginary stairs let you walk up eternally by stepping on the same steps again and again each cycle. From a certain perspective, real life models can look like the often seen images. From another perspective you can see, it wouldn’t work. This perspective dependency guided us to the display and the time reading.

Heather & Sam say: BLOX is an LCD watch inspired by the popular and often quoted videogame Tetris. The basic idea is that we let each game block represent a number and create a playful time display.

Patrick says: When I want to eat chocolate that is sandwiched between two cookie, I unscrewed for access (style “Choco BN” in France).
The watch case is a hexagon, cut in half in its thickness.
