Lloyd & Peter say: We thought it would be amusing to create a watch that doesn’t actually display the time or date. That’s why this concept design is called “Timeout”.

Lloyd says: This concept LCD watch design uses the shape of a butterfly to display the time and date, hence it’s name “Chou”, which is Japanese for ‘butterfly’.
KAZU displays time as anagram

Lloyd says: This concept watch design is called “Kazu” after the Japanese word meaning ‘numbers’. I thought it would be fun to create a watch that uses the letters that make up the numbers 0 to 9 instead of the digits themselves and present them in a puzzling way.

Lloyd says: This concept LED watch design is called “Hi Five”. The idea came to me as I was thinking about the way light falls on the grooves of a vinyl record.
Decypher watch turns digits into code.

Lloyd says: This watch design is called “Decypher”. The display may look mysterious at first, but is actually very easy to decipher once you know the trick behind it.
Decypher has both a time and date mode. To see the digits in either mode, all you have to do is ignore the triangles and you’ll see that the remaining lines form digits. A cool feature of the display is that every digit, apart from the 8, can be displayed in more than one way by simply displaying different combinations of triangles.
