Cory says: Geometric patterns, particularly squares and triangles are everywhere, one just has to look. Why not use the interplay between these two shapes as a time telling method.

The upper left 6 segments indicates 5×2 hours and +1 hour. The 6 segments in the left botton indicates 5×10 minutes and 5 minutes. The 4 segments in the right side of the screen is 4×1 minute. Minimal calculating of the time.

Peter says: As people will know by now I am a bit of a petrol head and love anything to do with cars and motorcyles etc. I was looking at designing an LED watch using a standard analogue format when I realised that the LEDs looked rather like the spokes of a car alloy wheel, “P-Zero” (the name of a famous performance tyre) was born.

Peter says: This is “Subway”. I had an idea of a always on LCD display that showed continuously changing apparently random numbers. Some of the numbers tell the time but without knowing the order are completely meaningless.
