Firdaus says: GAMERZ watch design is inspired by gaming rigs; those gaming PC case, gaming notebook, gaming mouse & keyboard etc. It is a combination of LCD and LED time telling in a watch. On idle (LCD) mode, user can tell the time without pressing a button as the time is always on. This is very useful when on driving or during outdoor under direct sunlight. Indoor and during night time, the hybrid (LCD+LED) mode will make the watch more appealing to enjoy.

Sam says: I had once the idea of an analog-like watch that shows the time by a single line. One Line II is another approach to this idea.

Peter says: A lot of watches have a bezel, some have it for practical reasons like for measuring a set period of time. Most however are just a styling element. The nice thing with most is that they often add a little detail and a tactile quality. I decided to use the bezel as the time telling feature of this design.
Sector: A stylish variation of an analogue watch.

Sam says: The display of sector is inspired by the popular pie charts that are used to display statistical information in mass media. I think those charts don’t only have a scientific value but also an artistic one.
Anacube: A geometric, analogue style LCD watch.

Peter says: Since my participation in the blog I have had a few ideas for watch design inspired by cube like forms. 3D Unlimited is one of my favourite TF designs and I love the simple but cryptic looking geometry. I have often thought it would be great if it was possible to create an analogue version. “Anacube” was the result. This design also takes a few cues form the internationally recognised puzzle “Rubik” cube.

David says: This is my idea for a bluetooth smart watch. It has an LCD display showing icons when you receive a call, email, message etc. It has strong lighting on the case like the lines of neon light in the Tron movie.

Peter says: I have made it sleeker and edgier than the original. I have also connected the two dials to make it look more scroll like and added markers to make time reading easier.
“Gear” analogue watch design

Valentin says: I came up with this idea from my favourite type of watches, so i decided to design this one. The design has translucent dials that light up and rotate to the specific time. The time is read from top to bottom under the arrow on the case of the watch.

Peter says: This design was inspired by a computer game logo from a game I played recently. As soon as I saw the logo I thought it would make a great watch face. “Hexecule” was the result.
