Design submitted by Xavier from Spain.

Xavier has found a way to control the watch in a new way, and rather than hiding the buttons, he exaggerated it to be more expressive and provide easy functionality.Design submitted by Xavier from Spain.

Scaled Watch Design Concept

Design submitted by Anders from Sweden.

The idea for this watch came from the vernier scale used on calipers and micrometers, combined with the copy protection gadget for the old Amiga game Indiana Jones and Fate of Atlantis.

Time is told by three rings, the middle one a stationary reference ring with six marks lit by hidden red LEDs to match the wrist band color.  The inner ring tells the hours with similar marks lit by white LEDs, and the outer ring tells the minutes, also in white LEDs.Design submitted by Anders from Sweden.

Infinite Time Watch Design

Design submitted by Jakub from Czech Republic.

Inspired by the symbol of infinity – the horizontal eight, time is read in three displayed stages.  Randomly lit sections of the watch face indicates first the hours, then 10-minute segments, and finally the minutes.  Press the left button and the inner symbol and date in digits lights up.

Gamer’s LED Watch Concept

Design submitted by Lukasz from Poland.

At a glance, this watch looks more like a gaming gadget than a device to tell time. But it tells time alright. The violet LEDs indicate hours, 5-minute segment for the greens, and single minutes for the blue ones. The orange dot indicates AM or PM. It’s a very easy read with a twist of fun.

Gold Ring Watch Design

Design submitted by Pasquale from Italy.

This watch design is as simple and straightforward as it appears. Pasquale came up with this concept from his wedding ring. It’s like a modern “Lord of the Rings” ring, not with text but with a watch on it!

Fusion LED Watch

Design submitted by Samuel from Germany.

It’s all about duality with this LED watch design.  It consists of two watches, one for the hours and months and one for the minutes and days.  Press them together to illuminate and read the time, press again for the date.

Alternative Digital Display watch

Design Submitted by Heather Sable from USA.

The idea came from thinking about a new way to display time as “digital”.  I designed “digits” that can be used to represent 1 through 12, or 0-9 as needed.  The new “digits” are based on analog number placement, which is familiar to many.

Which Way? Unique LED watch design.

Submitted by Heather from USA.

Since people are familiar with number placement on an analog clock, it is simple to work from there.

The design is called “Which Way?”  The arrows on the face accentuate this concept.  To read it, the main numbers we look for are 12, 3, 6, and 9.  The watch points which way from there the hours (big arrow) or minutes (small arrow) appear. i.e. up from the 3 hour position would be 2, or left from the 6 (30 min) position would be 7 (35 min). There are 4 triangles in the center that light up as single minutes.
