Lumin – Analog Watch Design With Shining Light

Laszlo says: “Lumin is an analog watch design with an electroluminescent black light.  The current time is indicated by a light shining through the slits of the two etched parts.” The time is displayed simply in an analog manner but with a sweeping effect. All Around The Wrist Analog Watch Design

Jonny says: “I was fed up seeing really awesome concept watches that I could not buy. It struck me that by law a watch must be a face and a strap. We are unable to buy the watch with a display all the way round your wrist designed by Peugeot or what ever. I wanted a concept that was realistic. Also… every time I look at my watch the face has disappeared to the underside of my wrist. Therefore I designed what looks like a heavy and expensive yet totally kickin’ rad solution. Maru – The Fifth Pocket Watch Design

Sam says: “I saw a documentary on TV about the “fifth pocket” on a a pair of jeans. They interviewed people on the streets and asked, “What is this little pocket for?” The most people said, it is for coins, chewing gum packages or condoms. Some people knew it was originally made to carry a pocket watch. After seeing this, I wanted to revive the initial usage of the fifth pocket also known as watch pocket. Continue reading

Duality LCD Analog Watch Design

Sam says: “This is an adaptation of the idea I had for my San Sen watch. This time, I use an imaginary center line to divide the watch into two parts: One always black, the other one whatever is possible. I planned to let “the other side” be also transparent even.
