Tracking Time

Like something from the Caterpillar factory, the heavy steel frame of this design bends in beneath the interface to create the case and bends out again to form the strap.

The width of the frame protects the strong looking interface, which is set deep beneath the raised edges of the strap.

The LED display is like a rugged tire track, the maze of shapes illuminate to display units of time in three distinct groups.  Hours, groups of 10 minutes and single minutes move in the same direction. Continue reading

Green Lines

One thin panel of stainless steel makes up the body of this design. The case is curved on both ends and connected to a contrasting rubber strap.

The interface features sharp green lines, angled in places to achieve a fit with the angled case.

Hours are displayed in the top third of the screen, groups of ten minutes in the bottom third and single minutes in the center. Continue reading

Cool & Calculating

Like a metallic ribbon, the frame that weaves around the case is a single piece of metal in a sweeping single motion.

A retro calculator-like interface displays the time in three segments, hours at the top, groups of ten minutes at the bottom and single minutes in the center.

The smoked acrylic lens covering the case and bending across to make one side of the case gives a clean modern effect, the polished stainless steel case maintains the clean sleek appearance. Continue reading
