Infinite Time Watch Design

Design submitted by Jakub from Czech Republic.

Inspired by the symbol of infinity – the horizontal eight, time is read in three displayed stages.  Randomly lit sections of the watch face indicates first the hours, then 10-minute segments, and finally the minutes.  Press the left button and the inner symbol and date in digits lights up.

Gamer’s LED Watch Concept

Design submitted by Lukasz from Poland.

At a glance, this watch looks more like a gaming gadget than a device to tell time. But it tells time alright. The violet LEDs indicate hours, 5-minute segment for the greens, and single minutes for the blue ones. The orange dot indicates AM or PM. It’s a very easy read with a twist of fun.

Gold Ring Watch Design

Design submitted by Pasquale from Italy.

This watch design is as simple and straightforward as it appears. Pasquale came up with this concept from his wedding ring. It’s like a modern “Lord of the Rings” ring, not with text but with a watch on it!

Alternative Digital Display watch

Design Submitted by Heather Sable from USA.

The idea came from thinking about a new way to display time as “digital”.  I designed “digits” that can be used to represent 1 through 12, or 0-9 as needed.  The new “digits” are based on analog number placement, which is familiar to many.

Which Way? Unique LED watch design.

Submitted by Heather from USA.

Since people are familiar with number placement on an analog clock, it is simple to work from there.

The design is called “Which Way?”  The arrows on the face accentuate this concept.  To read it, the main numbers we look for are 12, 3, 6, and 9.  The watch points which way from there the hours (big arrow) or minutes (small arrow) appear. i.e. up from the 3 hour position would be 2, or left from the 6 (30 min) position would be 7 (35 min). There are 4 triangles in the center that light up as single minutes.

Orbe LED Watch Design – The Perfect Circle

Design submitted by Víctor from Spain.

This design is inspired by the concept of unity. The circle, symbol of the sun, creates rhythm on the watch, it begins from the centre moving out to the edge, the multiplicity of the sun rays interpreted as hours, increase the shape of the watch. This makes relations between the one, symbolizing the perfection of the simplicity, and the eternity.

Design submitted by Maciej from Poland.

Maciej has put together a simple watch design with a fun way of reading the time.  His target is to surprise people when they realize how easy and obvious it is to read the time.

Moebius Ring Watch Design Concept

Design submitted by Anders from Sweden.

Designed as a moebius ring, this watch design has two rings – the hour ring and the minute ring.  The hour ring is divided into two helix shapes, each with twelve sections.  The minute ring is divided into three shapes with ten sections each.

Screens light up when one button on the hinge is pressed.  Pressing both opens the watch.  Hours are in blue LEDs for 18:00-05:00, yellow for 06:00-17:00.  Minutes are shown in three groups of ten, yellow equals one minute, blue two minutes.  A ‘full’ group turns yellow.

Warp Watch Concept

Design submitted by Logan from the USA.

Logan’s latest watch concept creates a sense of depth and motion in this warp-themed display making the watch come into life.

Count the lit rings for hour, add six if the dot is lit.  The outer two rings contain five and nine segments to indicate the tens and single minutes.  There is also a spectacular animation where the five and nine segments animate as a countdown, then the inner rings to show warp travel.
