Valentin says: I love cars, so I decided to make a design inspired from a speedometer. called SPEED.
the design is suppose to imitate the look of a speedometer and a tachometer. the time is simple to read. the gauge markers point at the respective number showing the time in a analogue type manner. the watch also has markers for the day of the week and a heart rate detector on the back to tell you your heart rate. and track how much steps you’ve taken to measure the distance you’ve walked or ran. it also has voice activated time and a speaker to tell you the time or heart rate, for those who are visually impaired.
I see athletic people wearing this. those who keep up with their active life and people who are visually impaired.
the sleek design makes it really easy to do any type of movements without worrying about bumping into something while being active or doing rough activities. and because it can tell you your heart rate, and the time by speaking or the click of a button. its mostly aimed for athletes, car lovers and the visually impaired.

I can certainly see the speedometer inspiration but I also like the futuristic feeling here as well. The silver/blue has a Star Trek vibe, but the dark versions feel different. Thats a nice bonus for some people.
The extra features are really great; voice activated & heart rate monitor. Very useful for an active lifestyle.

Thanx a lot for posting this TFJ!! I just realized that I totally forgot to upload a pic with instructions!/_. But it’s really simple to read. Just wherever the hands are pointing plus the single minutes/ LEDs on top of the second gauge. And the top left LEDs are the days if the week, seven LEDs with Saturday and Sunday being a orange/red color. And the top right LEDs are just the batter %. That’s it. Sorry about that lol

I’m also a petrol head (gear head) so anything car inspired wins my vote. I have contemplated a car dial watch a few times but have never finished one. I like the dial look which has a technical look and straight forward time telling. The extra info is a nice bonus. I also like (and I assume it’s not deliberate) the fact the layout of the dials looks like a cyber bear! lol “speedo-ewock” for the win 😉 best of luck sir! 😀

Hi Valentin, I also love everything that affects the automotive and mechanical, so I like the idea and stylized lines, as well as many features.

I’m glad we are all gear heads!:) I own and love my 1976 trans am. My car is what fuels my automotive love and inspiration. I have yet to design a watch inspired on my firebird!!:) thanx a lot for the comments and support you guys!!!

Oh and another thing I forgot to point out is that the circle that is surrounded by the hour hand is suppose to be a button to turn the LEDs on and tell the time and very thing else. And also the little led tab/ tabs to the bottom left and bottom right of the hour dial are am/pm indicators.

I like most of it, but would prefer it without the ears – not keen on the teddy bear look. Other than that it all works for me.

Very nice car cockpit theme! I’m not this much inside the car topic but I like the speed dial inspiration and I really like the watch geometry. Also very nice side buttons. So a good looking watch with a popular theme – what can go wrong? I have no idea hehe. The top two half circles create a teddy beary look of the display. I can’t unsee this now 😉 Cool features suggested too. If any of these can be implemented properly, the watch would be a cool gadet. Good luck Valentin!
