Design submitted by Patrick from France.
Patrick says: I wanted to make parallel bands like floors of a building.
The “Stairs-Watch” is rather a jewel watch as she plays with the reflections of the surrounding light, with a reading time very easy, yet cryptic at first.
Its sleek attract mainly women refined, eager to seduce with unusual jewelry. A watch to wear in the fashion world or evening dress.
The “Stairs-Watch” with the clean lines is mainly destiny, to women sensitive (women’s watches are rare on the blog), with the advantage of an easy time reading.
A big thank you to all the team Tokyoflash for this new publication.

What an imagination. Would have one as a jewel.

Very pretty design which would easily suit both sexes equally with variations of finishes. The time telling would suite the mass market. Nice work Patrick! My new favourite of your designs! 5/Y best of luck sir! 😀

This looks cool Patrick. I especially like the look of the Stair case. 😉 5Y The association with the Chrysler building is a nice touch too. The numbers would be easy for wearers to read.

Nice one Patrick! Good to see one for the ladies, as it were. I’ve got a couple in my head, but not finalized enough to anything with as yet (stay tuned), but none of them are quite as restrained as this. I really like deco, as regulars of the blog might’ve noticed, and this fits the bill nicely. I just have two little comments. I’d like to see the triangular LEDs aligned differently, perhaps staggered (so that they point to the upper or lower corner of the one inside it rather than the middle), which might give the numbers a more interesting skewed shape. Also, I wonder how it would look if the egdes of the LEDs were marked on the face of the watch, running across it in a sort of diamond pattern (either faceted or just as thin grooves)… Anyway, that’s my 2 cents. Not sure it needs any alteration, it looks very good already. Best of luck!

Anders, thank you for your comment interesting is to study.
In fact, LEDs are triangles are arranged like the windows of the Chrysler Building and the effect of stairs, even lined up, they seem staggered according to the angle of gaze.

Oh very elegant design – I like it. The triangle lights are quite a diversion to the usual rectangles. The reminiscence of the Chrysler Building is very nice. It’s similar but distant enough to stand alone. The steps are great. 5*/OUI and good luck Patrick!

Very Artistic and architectural! One of the best *designs* in this blog so far! I like the feel of industrial design and lil bit retro-futuristic of it. 5*/OUI and good luck Patrick!
Note that, as one of TF customer, my main preference is design, concept could be second or third criteria.

It is clean but the giant bar in the middle looks very unattractive and should be removed or made a bit smaller.

I like the overall look. I like that it’s using triangles instead of square/rectangles. I agree with Sam comment about the Chrysler building look.
