‘Power’ watch with iconic time display.

Laszlo says: ‘Power’ an always on LCD watch with time/date functions.

Use the 5-1-5-1-4 time reading system (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 – 1 hours, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 – 5,- 1, 2, 3, 4 minutes).

Settings and operation: touchscreen (set: time, alarm and date, mode: time, date, activate backlight.)

The alarm mode: sound, sound and vibration, vibration.

  1. There is something very appealing about the display & the way it builds up the time, but it is a bit complicated for me. I would forget which markers meant what. Nevertheless, its a great design for people who prefer something more cryptic – well done Laszlo.

  4. Crikey a Laszlo design in the sub 4s, that must be un-heard of?
    I find the time telling on the difficult side but then I do struggle with the binary styles.
    It looks great which would make me want to learn it. Your images as always are awesome! I remember Anders’s version, its a great inspiration. Lets hope there is room on TF’s watches page for one of them.

  5. i really like the look, but the time-reading is too complicated for me. it would take me too long to figure it out. beautiful work, though! good luck!

  6. The day before this was posted, I made a 1st draft with the same inspiration. The way the logo is divided is completely different.

    I have 2 suggestions, to help the reading : Invert the 2 hours and the 10 minutes pieces, so the reading would be left-to-right.

    Or : Flip, vertically, the 2 hours pieces & invert the 1 hour and the 5 minutes pieces so that the time reading start at 12 o’clock & end under it, after making a full circle.

    ( But the inverted H & M make it more cryptical )
