Dimitar & Nikolay say: I was interested lately in ancient civilisations and their architecture, science, calendars, graphic system. So I thought it would be nice to have a face watch that resembles of an ancient calendar or number system because they always have their own continuity and circles like some kind of a reminder that life never ends.
The upper half indicates the hours – actual on the top, previous and next. The system of the lower half is the same, only it indicates the minutes.

i can’t say i dislike it, because i’ve submitted similar ideas myself, but i do prefer my own take on it.
although the idea of displaying the previous and next numbers for hours and minutes is an interesting twist, i feel like if you’re gonna display this many digits, make more of them useful – like seconds or date or something.
it’s good, but not original enough as far as i’m concerned. 4*

I like the look guys (welcome to the blog btw) but like Heather says it does feel familiar. That said the additional numbers do make it look different. I’d be tempted by another mode where the time is told in full on the top half and the bottom half is the seconds in the style you have now with the previous and after digits. That way it would be constantly animated which could look cool. Either way 5/Y best of luck chaps! 😀

Firstly I would like to welcome both Dimitar & Nikolay to the Tokyo Flah Blog. Furthermore I would like to suggest a new name / title for this wrist watch design concept of The Ouroboros or Uroborus: an ancient symbol depicting a serpent, snake or dragon eating its own tail. This symbol can also represent an infinite cycle of death & rebirth.

I love the X watch but it should be in both small and large size and that is why i have not bought any watches yet and another thing i like the Circle Watch concept. I would buy them both if they were the right size at the same time.

Hi guys, thanks for your comments. I have changed two digits – the 1 and the 7, I think the general look will be better with the new ones, you can see them at the link below. You can also see how digits change.

the current “1” is better. or remove the right part of the top line. (they look like anchors)
the new “7” is better. the current one, for the minute, look like a “1”.

I like the idea & the previous/next digits.
For the case : I would prefer something that look like stone, or metal, like bronze looking.
I prefer this one vs the”V-BL47″
I would buy. (black digits/gray background/stone case would be nice)
