Andrew says: BLINK: is a LCD digital watch that takes it inspiration from a human / animal Eye.This watch can constructed from various materials: See the Diagrams provided. This watch has an always on display, but after a certain period of inactivity say 1 minute, the Screen’s Eyelids Close & the digits become hidden from View.
The time / Alarm is presented in a 24 Hour style Format. The Date is presented as follows: Day / Date followed by month Number: 01 January to 12 December. Using the Black part of the Eye the Pupil.
Anyone with an interest in the Natural World or the latest technology.
This watch stands out because the user is not just keeping an eye on the time. The Time is keeping an Eye on you.

Interesting way of making a feature of the display being off some of the time. If the display could have an opening /closing animation even better. (perhaps the backlighting could be zoned to allow for gradual illumination from the centre outwards etc) With a few styling tweaks could look pretty cool. Best of luck Andrew! 😀

I like the case/digits shape. But the digits shouldn’t be the same color as the border, for a better visibility. The eyelid closing/opening should be a short animation & not every minute. ( like 5 seconds every 10-15 minutes )
