Design submitted by Peter from the UK.
This is “Pozi-Drive” a very simple digital LED design. The basic premis is the display is made up of four groups of LEDs arranged in a cross-headed screw like arrangement hence the name “Pozi-Drive”.
The top two screw heads tell the hours (or months) and the lower two the minutes (or days). This is done by illuminating the circle of LEDs or the cross shape group of LEDs to create basic round digits.
The design has a fun but industrial feel. The strap has “machined” triangles to continue the theme through and a screw like crown for adjusting the time. This theme and fun LED colours will hopefully appeal to a wide audience. The slim like proportions will make the design available for the majority of wrist sizes.
Hi Pete. I’ve given you 5*/ y for originality and that cool watch band. I’m not sure if I really dig this watch, but I appreciate people venturing out into unusual design territory.
Good luck!

Name it “I’m Screwed” Ya would be great if made out of a solid pc of machined Aluminum. Love the industrial look.

I really like the watch, but I don’t know how to read it.

The four screw heads just show simple digits using the circle sections around the outside of each screw and the cross shape in the middle. Top two are hours and the bottom two are mins. Try letting your eyes relax when looking at the time examples, this may help as you wont be focussing on individual details. Thanks for liking and hopefully it will become easier for you to read! 😀

I think if you rotate all the pluses to form X shapes you could do better theme for this design. BTW, its already good, but could be better! 5*

Rotating the crosses is no problem, but I wonder if the digits would make as much sense. They would be definately more cryptic. I might try a rendering with your suggestion and see how it looks. Cheers for the feedback and the vote! 😀

i agree that the X shapes looks better. 5* . I love the triangle cut-outs, but the display shape is a bit bothersome for me…i think i would like the display part to be just the screws and leds, but no extra background or rounded square led around it…i feel like the screws need to stand out better.

Thanks Heather for the feedback, I will try a plainer one minus the boarder around the display when I get 5 mins. 😀

Nice design! Only thing I notice is that the ‘screw-heads’ are the style of a Philips screw-driver, not a Pozidrive 🙂

Haha I’ve been waiting for this comment to arrive! Lol yup you are correct the display is based on Phillips head screws, but that isn’t a great a name for a watch design. I ideally wanted to call it “Screwz” but that name was already used by Samukun on an earlier design. So I took the risk in choosing Pozi-drive. I’m glad you like the design despite the deliberate inacurracy 😀

I like the idea. I prefer + shaped segments. I also like the crown detail. my fav light color is the “aqua” ( 3rd pic )

Cool choice sir! yeah a teal type colour looks nice with stainless steel. I wonder if it would be possible to have the screw heads turnable so you could choose between + or x etc.
Cheers for the likey and the fedback! 😀

I’m not sure about the turntable ting, but tf could make both & buyers would choose is fav.
