Design submitted by Peter from the UK.
We saw Peters well received ‘Arcane Orbit’ design at the beginning of November.
Now he has updated the idea with a version that tells the time in a single step.
Peter says: The four disks rotate combining the symbols with the four viewing windows expressing the time. I have left the disks all the same on this example which requires four disks. If a bespoke disk was used for the hours, three disks could be used and potentially be powered by a conventional analogue movement.
Same as the standard Arcane Orbit design.
The time telling method is unique and may appeal to unique people.
Check out the original Arcane Orbit design.

This is nice, I like the original and I like this. Like you say in the text it could have three disks and be a little narrower. Either way I like it 5 stars and Yes please!

Im glad you like both versions!
Yeah this has potential for different layouts. I have chosen the four identical disks for this one, in a horizontal configuration, Another wasy would be to the have the diks in a vertical config which would be narrower. There could be two pairs of disks one pair above the other which would allow for a squarer shape.
If a bespoke disk was used for hours it would be possible to use three disks, again either horizontal or verticle or even in a triangular configuration. I would like to think there is much scope for development if TF chose to take it to the next step. Thanks for your vote! 🙂

Pete Yes, everything is perfect!
I have a small question, the parties free giving the hours, they is enlightened?
5 * / Yes, Yes and more, for a night vision!

Hi Patrick, Im glad you like it.
The symbols could be easily iluminated/florencent which would make time reading easier in both sunlight and at night. Thanks for the comment and the vote!

Hi Pete, think the design is improved from the original as I prefer reading off the numbers all at once and I think the shape is nice. Overall very attractive watch 😉

Thanks Keiron, so far its being well recieved.
I didn’t expect people to like the shape as much as the original.
Im glad you like it. Thanks for your positive comment! 🙂

Now this I like, the single disk version is cool but I like to see the whole time in one hit! Lovely shape too.
Get this made TF! 5* and Yes!

A very cool analog design. There are so many things I like about it; the way the strap starts in two parts and merges into one, the dual material colors, the thinness of the case. I am not a huge fan of the way the time is displayed, although it is kind of cute and mechanical.

4 out of 5 aint bad! hehe Im glad you like the look if not the display method. Thank you very much Avatara! 🙂

This version is cool, and surely more user-friendly, I think I prefer this display. But with a larger case, I’d rather see a larger strap too. Here the gap is a bit too important. Probably a matter of taste, the curves are a bit feminine to me (which is a good point, on the other hand).
Anyway there is definitely something to do with your concept. Congrats Peter from the UK.

There is plenty of scope for development with this one the 3 or 4 disks could be confingured in a quite a number of different layouts which allows a variety of case shapes. A wider strap would probably help man it up!
Thanks for the positive words Nico! 🙂

Yeah I think this system could be built upon for other concepts, one of the symbols could be adapted for the Kisai logo! (hint hint TF) and I think with a little tweak here and there could be very doable with existing analogue movements etc. Only time will tell if TF agree! 🙂 Thanks Sam!
