Vision90° – LED Watch Concept

Design submitted by Shaun from England.

The Vision90° is designed to sit on the side of your wrist which eliminates the problem of it slipping to the back of the wrist.  In this position, it is more readily visible especially while active (while typing, cycling, running, reading, or holding a drink).

The Vision90° is designed for easy time reading along with its easy to read position.  The inner segments display the hours in the same position as on a traditional clock face, middle segments display the minutes in five minute bands, and outer segments show individual minutes up to four at a time.  Time shown on the model is 12:16.

Shaun sees this watch concept worn by active and fashion conscious people who enjoy unique and practical timepieces.

We have not seen anything like this watch that sits on the side of the wrist.  Awesome idea!

  1. This is a bit unrefined for my liking. I like the idea of the watch sitting on the side of my wrist, thats unusual, but the overall look is a bit dull. Not for me this one.

  2. Not a bad concept by the look of it, I especially like the display, but I’d really like to know how to read it.
Having said that, it does seem a bit… unfinished… It would benefit greatly from more detail, as mentioned in the previous comments…

    • The model shown is just the concept and unfortunately the finish is limited by the modelling package used to create it, however these are valid comments and will be taken on board for my next entry which is in the pipeline.

  3. Yeah the presentation is a little weak. But the idea is nice. I also had the idea to put the display on the side of the arm, because you see that more often on unforced. Go ahead and complete this watch. I wanna see what idea you come up with.

  4. I love the idea of the display on the side of the wrist – much easier to read yet very unusual, although it could do with some refinement.

  5. This is a great concept, all of my other watches always end up at the back of my wrist. Not so keen on the colour but would really like to see how it would feel to wear.

  6. Poor presentation aside, this is the most novel and innovative wristwatch design I have seen for a long time. There’s nothing out there at the moment like this that can boast the same style and practicalities. With a little polishing up I would definately buy one! Good luck Shaun.

  7. This is a watch pretty easy to read when you already see a lot of watches showing the time with 12-11-4 and the idea to put the case on the side is real new. Now for the style… maybe if I m wearing spiderman’s suit… ?
