Design submitted by Maciej Mandrysz from Poland.
Here’s what Maciej says about his unique concept: “An asymmetric watch design that is simple, modern & clean. Inspired by a sci-fi computer interface. 12 LEDs on left represent hours, 10 LEDs in the center represent 10 minute group, and 9 LEDs on the right represent single minutes.”
A very striking look to this watch design by Maciej. Black and green together just have to be alien don’t they? Could be a countdown device for self-destruct, a cryptic communicator, some kind of analysing device – my last guess would be a wrist watch. It’s nice to see all these community designs pouring in: people getting involved & enjoying the creativity! What are your thoughts on this watch design?
The strap is off-set from the case, so its not the usual round or square case, we’ve seen only a few using this arrangement before – is it something you would like to wear? The case is curved to fit your wrist, it poses some technical challenges because everyones wrist is different & circuit boards are flat, not curved – but nothing that cant be solved creatively. Is it better to have the angled side toward your hand or toward your arm? The face is fairly simple. 3 columns with geometric shapes, quite attractive in black and green but perhaps needs some more work to really turn the look into something special.
