Extremely simple to read, this concept splits hours and minutes between the upper and lower screens basically in the same positions as numbers on two clock faces. Four single minutes are displayed in the center of the lower screen.
With contemporary styling in a stainless steel case with matching wrist band, the display has the appearance of a measuring device or radar.
The slightly recessed smoked lens is completely black and adds a sense of mystery when no LEDs are illuminated.

nice and clean. Do the white hash marks always apear, or only when the LCD comes on? i would prefer the hash marks to only appear when the LCD comes on, keeps the face cleaner when the LCD is off. you may need to change the name, as this design doesn’t really resemble a ‘radar’ display. perhaps ‘split time’ or ‘split face’?

this design is great. i personally don’t mind the white hash marks; they seem necessary for any kind of ‘radar’ graphing effect. the only thing that i wish is that the hours section had a few dots inside like the minutes section, so it feels like a blip/bogey has been detected by the radar when they light up.
also, does this animate? like the Pimp watch will animate its lights once per minute, having the outer-edge lights of the radar fields animate like it is sweeping the area with its sensor would be badass! 🙂

I kind of like it just the way it is. Even though it’s called Off the Radar, doesn’t mean it has to look like a radar. I think this watch isn’t trying to achieve that. If that was the case then better off using a round case with a line going around with blips on it. This design is more retro and not so flashy which is also nice.

I personnaly think it would be great with lcd panel or something so you see the time without having to press any button. And being able to choose the color of the backlight like the negative watch does would be awesome too!

I also like this style. I like the square with rounded edges look. I think some multicolour would be good (even if old style radars did not use multicolour). I agree with the idea for animation and I would suggest a day and date feature. Perhaps the strap could be more interesting, although I like it’s sleek look, perhaps just the link design needs some modification.

I really dig the look of the watch and the way the strap continues the style. As far as suggestions go, I’d also like to see some animation and multicolour worked into the design. If not multicolour, then I’d personally love to get this watch with greed LEDs.

I think this is one of the most finished designs I’ve seen. The strap echos the design on the top nicely, and the layout is simple to read. I’ll definitely be on the waiting list for this one!

I’m with cortjezter on this one, I like the hash marks. It gives the feeling that it’s something other than a time telling device – a sense of mystery. Hope this is available in future!
