Echo E-paper LCD analog watch display

Sam says: I was sketching for an analog based sci-fi E-paper display based on half circles. I took the advantage of E-paper towards LCD to hide and create display gaps whenever pleasing. Police Light tells time in 3 colors

Timetri watch tells time in triangles

Nico says: I like Tokyoflash watches ever since I read gizmag articles about Tokyoflash. In particular, I like the Kisai Rogue Touch Pocket Watch, how the twelve large blocks on the outer ring tells the time.

I then think how else I can tell time with a similar concept but adding additional information and not make it more complex. That is how I come up with a pie chart style that divides the watch into two parts: dark and bright/day and night.

This is an easy to read LCD watch concept. The upper two digits indicate the hours and date (the inner little number is the first and the outer bigger number  is the second number of the hours or month).
