Peter says: This is “2PM15″ which is a back to basics analogue with a subtle twist.
The time telling method is very conventional and uses a disk for the hours and two quirky shaped hands for the minutes and seconds. There is a red LED in the top right corner to indicate PM.

Lloyd says: “This concept watch design is called “Checkpoint”. I thought it would be fun to create a modern-looking watch with circular LED lights that resembles a conventional analog watch. It’s called “Checkpoint” because you have to check the points (spots) to find out the time and date.

The ideas were so similar in layout it struck me as unnecessary to come up with two separate cases, which would probably have been very similar anyway. The displays are both HD LCD or LED. Logan says: The inspiration is “Tokyoflash formal wear.” The result is LED watch cufflinks. Let’s call them Quarks. Like the particles, they are small and come in pairs. I present the Up and Down Quarks.

Sam says: This project ran under the working title “chameleon” just like my Canvas watch concept did. I have fun, creating adaptable concepts. It’s a contemporary feature because it’s fun to customise. Canvas was a relatively high tech version of the chameleon idea. This watch – Inch – is a haptical and simple version. One inch, that is the width of a strap in any flexible material which you can stick into the watch and therefore adapting it to your taste. Read the rest of this entry »
