Lloyd says: “This concept watch design is called “Checkpoint”. I thought it would be fun to create a modern-looking watch with circular LED lights that resembles a conventional analog watch. It’s called “Checkpoint” because you have to check the points (spots) to find out the time and date.
Peter says: “This is RECG (Rotational Electrocardiogram). The inspiration for this design is a heart rate monitor or ecg. I have seen other concepts before using similar inspiration but all seemed to have a very abstract time telling method. I decided to realise a domino-watch using boxes and points. Three boxes at the top of the watch first means the first digit of the hour and six boxes at the bottom of the display means first digit of the minutes. The Domino dots at the top of the display indicates the second digit of the hour and domino dots at the bottom of the display indicates the second digit of the minutes.
