Sam has reinterpreted the traditional pocket watch with its chain and clasp in a modern way.  In this watch concept, it has an IP black case and clasp and an interchangeable band.  The attachment of the band and the hinge of the clasp are integrated with its button into one cylinder at the watch’s side. Hydraulics Inspired Watch Design

Anders says that hydraulics has always fascinated him and he wanted to translate it into a watch design. He had the idea of a glass torus with two pistons, one fixed and one moving, telling time by pumping oil from one side of the pistons to the other while simultaneously rotating the whole torus. Tilt Sensitive Rechargeable Watch Design

Sam had two ideas combined in this watch.  One was about placing the display on an edge facing the eyes of the wearer and use the free space on top of the wrist for a battery recharge mechanism.  Another idea was about having a tilt sensor and the fun you can have with it.  The result is this tilt sensitive watch concept with manually rechargeable battery. Pirates! – A bloody LED Watch Design

Cory says “The Skull and Crossbones on a black background, ‘Jolly Roger’ is instantly recognizable as the calling card of pirates throughout history.  From Blackbeard and Henry Morgan, to Calico Jack Rackham and Captain Kidd, most all pirates would fly a variation of the Jolly Roger to strike fear in the hearts of their quarry.”
