Lewis says: The idea was to combine a simple, functional display with futuristic weapon grade design. I took inspiration from video games and films set in clean metallic futures such as Halo, Titanfall and Tron. the idea for the display came with the shape of the chassis, it needed to be long and symmetrical to make use of the space.
Justin says: I wanted to strip away as much as possible when it came to designing this watch. Hexagons seem popular, so I began with that. Then I gradually took it down to the minimum amount of LED’s whilst still retaining that ever so crucial “ease of use”.
Humberto says: I am a fan of vehicles, speed, adrenaline … then the idea came to me because I have not seen any place a modern, technological clock that looks like a part of a vehicle, so I decided to try an instrument that gives indication of speed x time.
Lukas says: There is something magical about a big city skyline, something that makes you feel free… During the day you can see the ivory skyscrapers basking in the sun, reflecting its rays. At nightfall, when the lights and neons start shining, you can feel a chill breeze on your face. This is what Tokyosky is all about.
