Laszlo says : LCD version of my older 12-5-9 style concept in new stylish case.
Very easy to read. The outer twelve segments surrounding the face indicate the hours, the five big inner segments show 10 minutes group, and the nine small are the single minutes.
The LCD screen is radically reduces the power consumption.

Peter says: Somebody asked me the time the other day across a busy office and I found myself gesturing the time across the office with my hands rather than having to shout. I then thought this is a pretty universal method of communicating numbers and would suit an LCD display, “Digitz” was born.

Heather says: My brother thought up the phrase “SPLIT SECOND”, and this concept was born. I thought, maybe I can make a display that is mostly seconds, but split them in half so there is constant movement on a large portion of the display. Then I made the hours and minutes smaller and squeezed them in between the top and bottom of the seconds.

Firdaus says: GAMERZ watch design is inspired by gaming rigs; those gaming PC case, gaming notebook, gaming mouse & keyboard etc. It is a combination of LCD and LED time telling in a watch. On idle (LCD) mode, user can tell the time without pressing a button as the time is always on. This is very useful when on driving or during outdoor under direct sunlight. Indoor and during night time, the hybrid (LCD+LED) mode will make the watch more appealing to enjoy.

Heather says: ZAG was inspired by Firdaus’ V watch concept. I started with a similar V, but turned it on its side, gave it an overlap, and decided that 4 separate digits in this format would look really cool on a bracelet style watch.

Matthew says: I came up with this concept while I was working on another concept. I started to play around with the logo. I cropped off the top part of the logo, and placed it basically right next to the bottom half. This gave me the inspiration of creating a design that can be easily read, while the top half of the number is sliced from the bottom half of the number.
