Omar says: I saw a design by Kibardindesign and I wanted to make it into a wrist watch.
The time is told using four lcd displays. It is also bluetooth enabled and informs the user when a call is received and when a text message is received. The watch can also find your missing phone by alarming you if the bluetooth connection is lost.
Paolo says: I wanted to design something totally different this time and I’ve always wanted a watch that allowed me to see the time naturally without having to pivot my wrist. This is that watch. The Bullet Time Watch.
Romain says: “I had the idea of an arrow-shaped watch design, with also digits like arrows. In short, an arrow-watch! I also wanted that, at a specific moment of the day, there to be three arrows instead of the digits. For this moment, I chose 11 hours, 11 minutes, 11 seconds.
My idea is an LCD display, that reacts to light, like a human eye does. To express this idea, I let myself inspire by HAL 9000, the ship’s computer in Stanley Kubrick’s motion picture 2001: a space odyssey. Continue reading →
