The Vision90° is designed to sit on the side of your wrist which eliminates the problem of it slipping to the back of the wrist. In this position, it is more readily visible especially while active (while typing, cycling, running, reading, or holding a drink).

Design submitted by Lukasz from Poland.
At a glance, this watch looks more like a gaming gadget than a device to tell time. But it tells time alright. The violet LEDs indicate hours, 5-minute segment for the greens, and single minutes for the blue ones. The orange dot indicates AM or PM. It’s a very easy read with a twist of fun. Design Submitted by Heather Sable from USA.
The idea came from thinking about a new way to display time as “digital”. I designed “digits” that can be used to represent 1 through 12, or 0-9 as needed. The new “digits” are based on analog number placement, which is familiar to many.

Design submitted by Víctor from Spain.
This design is inspired by the concept of unity. The circle, symbol of the sun, creates rhythm on the watch, it begins from the centre moving out to the edge, the multiplicity of the sun rays interpreted as hours, increase the shape of the watch. This makes relations between the one, symbolizing the perfection of the simplicity, and the eternity. Read the rest of this entry »

Design submitted by Anders from Sweden.
Designed as a moebius ring, this watch design has two rings – the hour ring and the minute ring. The hour ring is divided into two helix shapes, each with twelve sections. The minute ring is divided into three shapes with ten sections each.
Screens light up when one button on the hinge is pressed. Pressing both opens the watch. Hours are in blue LEDs for 18:00-05:00, yellow for 06:00-17:00. Minutes are shown in three groups of ten, yellow equals one minute, blue two minutes. A ‘full’ group turns yellow. Read the rest of this entry »

Design submitted by Logan from the USA.
Logan’s latest watch concept creates a sense of depth and motion in this warp-themed display making the watch come into life.
Count the lit rings for hour, add six if the dot is lit. The outer two rings contain five and nine segments to indicate the tens and single minutes. There is also a spectacular animation where the five and nine segments animate as a countdown, then the inner rings to show warp travel. Read the rest of this entry »

The idea of the X shape comes from a traffic light’s sign (the red one) I was staring at this sign for long minutes, highly concentrated, to make it become green… my thinking slowly derivated far from the goal, but reached an unexpected idea…
The result of the 3 X and the other digits is nicely geometrical and lets many possibilities to display time, date, chrono and may be other functions. Despite a completely different way of displaying time than the classic hands, I think it is still easy to read. With training, it even must be quite quick to get it. Isn’t it the spirit of Tokyoflash ?

Design submitted by Pasquale from Italy.
This is an extraordinary watch concept from Pasquale. It is like a time experiment where liquid is pumped to the transparent tubes to display time in three quadrants. The clear glassy exterior of the watch including the strap presents this design in a delicate and fragile finish. It also has a dangerous feel in it that makes it an overall exciting watch design. Absolutely for those wanting to be different. Read the rest of this entry »
